Anatomy in high school was the first class that interested me. I found myself wanting to get to class early and begging for my teacher to tell me new things that doctors have discovered in the medical field. My fascination in anatomy made it easier for me to learn word association and study all of the difficult terminology that was required for me to learn. For example, all 206 bones in the human body.

SKELETAL ANATOMY by Amy Kwan An informational poster displaying the hierarchy and organizational relationships with typography. In this case, type serves as both image and information on the skeletal anatomy.--This is amazing. :)

reminds me of days at nursing school... who said it wouldn't come in handy to memorize this one. haha

Human Anatomy Felt Board I was going to make one out of construction paper, but this idea to use felt, is EVEN BETTER!!!! Lauren Davison Muskauski - this is better than Little Organ Annie!!!

Human Body Posters (could work in groups or individually) could divide groups into different areas, ie skeletal system, nervous system, digestive system etc.

This link shows how to make a life-sized human body map. Students trace their own body then make and place their bones and organs within the tracing where they would be inside their actual body. Label, color code, and use texture. This is a great way to teach and asses students' understanding of the human body.

Now this should help me with my "be able to name all the bones in the body" 101 in 1001 goal!

every chakra relates to a particular body organ. imbalance in a chakra can eventually lead to imbalance in an organ. preventative medicine=clean and clear your chakras regularly and notice what is coming up.

I love this anatomy breakdown #infographic. Beautiful art!
