    Homemade body wash. I have been making this with a Dove Go Moisture bar, and saving over $6.00 per bottle for the same stuff! Grate 2 bars of soap with a fine cheese grater. I used 4.25oz Olay Shea Butter bars. It took about 20 minutes while watching tv to grate. Pour 2 cups of water and grated soap in a saucepan. Heat together over medium low until soap is dissolved, about 5 minutes.Cool slightly. My soap had the consistency of whole milk at this point. Pour into bottles. I used 3, 8oz BBW...

Homemade body wash. 1 bar of Castile soap.(can use other brands) Grate soap. Add to 12 cups water and simmer on stove until dissolved. Add 2 tbs glycerine. Take off heat and let sit for about 10 hours until thickens and cools. Can add 3 tsp of essential oils at this point if desired for fragrance. Makes about 3 qts. If adding essential oils, use aromatherapy, candle or food grade oils.

Will definitely be trying this - homemade body wash ... extremely gentle, supposed to be good for eczema. Must. Try.

DIY Dove liquid body wash: 1 bar of grated soap, microwaved till melted + 2 cups hot water. Stir over medium heat until COMPLETELY melted-may take a while. Pour into glass jar or bowl to cool. Will thicken over 24 hours. Add more water if it's too thick for you. Pour into plastic bottle for shower use.

DIY Body Wash-get any bar soap, grate it, add flakes in pot on medium heat-add 2 cups of water if you want to make a big batch add 4 cups. Leave on stove until the flakes are melted-let cool down for about two hours-can add a cup of coconut milk for added moisture (optional) after it cools down and u remove the thin layer on top if its still to thick add water and repeat the process:)
