A rustic Christmas display for the mantel or tabletop using an old wooden crate filled with pine cones, evergreen and dried orange slices. Dry the orange slices by cutting the fruit and then baking them in a 200 degree oven for 3 hours to dry them out. Just flip the fruit slices every 30 minutes or so, in order for the fruit to dry evenly. They look really pretty hung on a tree too.
