My carpets are so gross with 3 kids carpet cleaner - Awesome! Should've done before/after pics, but I had 3 almost black stains on my off-white carpet and they came up beautifully! Had to do it twice, but they had been there a LONG time and were really ground in. 2cups hydrogen peroxide and 1/4 cup baking soda. Put in a spray bottle squirt- scrub- vacuum!
Spiders hate peppermint! Put some peppermint oil in a squirt bottle with a little water and spray your garage and all door frames. - interesting!I knew it helped keep mice away but i didnt know it worked for spiders too, ill have to try it
kill mold!!!Mix 1 teaspoon of tea tree oil per 1 cup of water. Spray onto the surface with mold and allow to dry, do not rinse. This will kill the mold spores without creating harsh chemical fumes as other cleaners, such as bleach, would.

RECIPE: Ingredients: 1 Cup Distilled Water 1 Cup VODKA (instead of vinegar; vinegar & soap don't work well together) 1 T Liquid Castile Soap (Such as Dr. Bonners) 6-8 drops of Thieves Oil Directions: Combine in a spray bottle and GO GET THOSE GERMS!!!
This long-forgotten gem of a cleaning agent may be used with a little water or vinegar to lift even the most stubborn stains. Unattractive grout? Mold and mildew stains? Burner pans and casserole dishes giving you fits? Cream of Tartar is your new best friend.
No-bleach mold remover: 1/2 cup hydrogen peroxide (3%) + 1 cup water OR 1 tsp. Tea Tree Oil + 1 cup water OR baking soda + water to make a paste. Chose one of the recipes above. Mix the two ingredients in a spray bottle (or a paste for the baking soda). Hit the mold and mildew and let it sit for an hour. Rinse and wipe clean. You may need to scrub tough mold or mildew with a sponge or scrub brush.
