Homemade Window Cleaner ~ going to make this today. Will let you know how turns out. ~ OK, so I tried this today and it was awesome! I put a few drops of Dr Bronner's Castile soap in, too (just because I had it and figured it wouldn't hurt). I'll never buy Windex again! No streaks and crystal-clear windows!
Homemade Window Cleaner Ingredients: 2 cups Rubbing Alcohol 1 tsp. of Prell Shampoo (or liquid dish detergent) Water Directions: Pour rubbing alcohol and shampoo into a 1 gallon jug, then fill the rest of the way with water. Give it a good shake. Pour into spray bottles. Works great on car windows too.
To shine up your kitchen: Take a spray bottle, fill it about 1/8th full with rubbing alcohol, add a drop of Dawn dishwashing soap, a few drops of scented oil (optional, but makes it smell so good), fill the rest of the way with water, shake together, and you're good to go!
