Everyone should read and own this. I read it at my sister's house in an afternoon. I laughed, I cried, it touched me in a many ways. I defy anyone to read this book & not be touched by it.... a remarkable true story of one man's journey, triumph over adversity.
Loved this from childhood when I saw the black/white movie which I have never forgotten and in the movie, each time the portrait is revealed, it is shown in colour, the only colour shots in the whole movie, very eerie & chilling! The book did not disappoint, Oscar Wilde a genius! as i'm sure you all know :)
