My mother has made one of these for my daddy, herself, my brother, my sister-in-law, my daughter and me. Ours have scraps from old flannel shirts and other saved fabrics mixed in with new flannels that she bought. She has also made one for each of my cousin's three little girls and for my best friend's new baby. They are precious! They are made of 'cutsey' baby flannels.

Cozy Nights pattern by Sweet Jane with Verna fabric by Kate Spain. Love the scrappy colors!

I think each hex triangle starts out with 2 different rectangles, sewed corner to corner (like HST), then trimmed to a 60 degree triangle - still working on figuring this out, but website has some clues

Pinwheels quilt WITH tutorial... :) it's an easy quilt. Love it. www.qnntv.com/...

Rag quilt...wish I would finally make time to make one of these! So soft & pretty.

How to make an easy quilt in one night. That is impressively sneaky. Love it!

Love the big hexes and contrast binding.

The quilt was pieced. If you try this on your own, make sure not to sew the strips of fabric together in a rectangular shape, otherwise you will have a lot of waste. Sew them together offset, like steps. Keep in mind that you’ll need the stepped strip sets (say that ten times fast!) going in two different directions to make this pattern.
