The music of stones, paths of shared footmarks, sleeping by the river’s roar Stone Fields — algorithmically generated formations, by Giuseppe Randazzo Title: Richard Long
Giuseppe Randazzo – Stone Fields 1 Giuseppe Randazzo‘s broken stone sculptures with the very appropriate title “Stone Fields” are some very neat pieces. Trying to manipulate the viewer’s eye through these near perfect circles are another shining example of accomplishing striking art with accessible materials.
Back in 2009, Italian designer Giuseppe Randazzo of Novastructura released a series of generative digital “sculptures” that depicted carefully organized pebbles and rocks on a flat plane. Titled Stone Fields, the works were inspired in part by similar land art pieces by English sculptor Richard Long.
