Been doing this for years! My mother taught it to me! Unopened can of condensed milk + 8 hours on low (completely submerged in water) in the crock pot + cool down in the fridge = Caramel! This is the best caramel I've ever had, let alone made! It's so easy! Need to try this!
Shari's Note: I did this recipe with 12 chicken legs instead of thighs and I didn't use as many onions and it turned out great. Just make sure to add enough salt. Next time I will probably double the liquid & seasoning mixture (but not the onions).
OMG. Fabulous. Poked holes in chicken while marinating. Used 1 TSP of dried basil. I would do a full cup of heavy creme and skip the cup of half/half. Can only imagine how yummy this will be in the summer with fresh basil I've stolen from Anne's garden:)
Apple Snickerdoodle Cobbler ~ Think of this as an apple crisp with the crisp topping replaced by snickerdoodle cookies that have spread into a perfect bubbled top crust, sealing in all of the wonderful juices and helping the apples become extra tender and flavorful. It’s out of this world amazing. Besides it being crazy scrumptious, it’s ridiculously easy to make too
AWESOME!! 1 box betty crocker chocolate cake mix made as instructed on the back. Ladle into a hot waffle iron as you would waffles. Let cook. Top with your ice cream and fruit of choice. >> THIS IS A MUST TRY!
