Age with: White Wash This has to be done on raw wood as well. I’d recommend sanding it with a low grit sandpaper to open up the pores and really rough up the wood. Mix half paint and half water, use a rag or a sock or a washcloth to spread it on. If you really really want the wood to show through you can go back after with a dry rag to get most of the paint off, leaving white in the cracks and the pores of the wood.
