Henry Darger wrote thousands of pages about the Child Slave Rebellion, a sci-fi or fantasy story chronicling the Vivian Girls as they tried to escape from hostile rulers. He also illustrated the novels through a collage process utilizing newspaper and magazine cut-outs.
