Letter from a Mother to a Daughter: "My dear girl, the day you see I’m getting old, I ask you to please be patient, but most of all, try to understand what I’m going through. If when we talk, I repeat the same thing a thousand times, don’t interrupt to say: “You said the same thing a minute ago”… Just listen, please. Try to remember the times when you were little and I would read the same story night after night until you would fall asleep. When I don’t want to take a bath, don’t be mad and ...

Letter from Mother to daughter. I need to remember this for my Mom. My three daughters take note, please! This is so sweet and sad, but true.

heard this in Easter Sunday homily...it has stuck with me

A little boy asked his mother, “Why are you crying?” “Because I’m a woman,” she told him. “I don’t understand,” he said. His Mom just hugged him and said, “And you never will.” Later the little boy asked his father, “Why does mother seem to cry for no reason?” “All women cry for no reason,” was all his dad could say. The little boy grew up and became a man, still wondering why women cry. Finally he put in a call to God. When God got on the phone, he asked, “God, why do women cry so easily?” ...

Paul Newman's letter to his wife on their wedding day: “ Happiness in marriage is not something that just happens. A good marriage must be created. In the Art of Marriage, the little things are the big things. It is never being too old to hold hands. It is remembering to say ‘I love you’ at least once a day. It is never going to sleep angry. Mommy, I love you and even though there are times I give you trouble and argue.. I always know that you are the best thing that has ever happened to me. You are there when I need guidance, a shoulder to cry on, an ear to listen, with a forgiving heart. I love you and I don't think there is anything I could ever do to repay you for the unconditional love you have for me. I love you ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Katie, is a 22 year old from Tennessee who is now living in Uganda as a foster mother to 13 beautiful little girls. Her story is amazing and her blog is so incredibly inspiring. I am typically not one to be interested in religious causes and especially not causes outside of the US but I cannot help but be drawn back to this story. Most people know I strongly support causes helping children in the US. Not because this is where I am from, but because there is so much hurt, pain, and suffering...

Being a mother is the best thing in LIFE!!

"Love this! So many times virtuous young ladies look around wondering what in the world is wrong with them. Why isn't there a young man interested in them? There is absolutely nothing wrong with them, they are lovely and beautiful to behold! Their ideals just scare men off, until a true man of valor comes along. Mother's, encourage your daughters to keep waiting! It is so worth it.

The things we do.

Beginning today, treat everyone you meet as if they were going to be dead by midnight. Extend to them all the care, kindness, and understanding you can muster, and do it with no thought of any reward. Your life will never be the same again. Og Mandino
