SprinkleBakes Christmas Candy Cake. I'm not sold on the candy (might replace with fruit) but the idea of the shortbread crust and sweetened sour cream layer really sounds good.

Star Cookie Christmas Tree l shortbread (or any) cookies (poke a hole with wooden skewer in center before baking. When cool, pipe sugar frosting in a design of your choice(confectioner's sugar, a bit of milk and a drop of vanilla or lemon). Spear the "branches onto the wooden skewer (use a bit of frosting to "glue" tham into place and top with a decoration of your choice. Place lying down on the side till the frosting "glue" dries. Enjoy!
