Aragonite.. Aragonite and the more common mineral Calcite are polymorphous to each other. Although Aragonite and Calcite contain the same chemical composition, they differ in crystal structure. Aragonite forms orthorhombic crystals, whereas Calcite forms trigonal crystals.
