Crispy Baked Parmesan Green Bean Fries 1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Line a baking sheet with foil, and spray with non-stick cooking spray. 2 Place green beans on prepared baking pan, Sprinkle seasonings and parmesan cheese evenly over green beans. 4. Place green beans in the pre-heated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy!
Fried Cherry Tomato....serve with several dipping sauces, honey mustard, ranch, blue cheese and horsey! The ultimate veggie bar would be fried zucchini, mushroom, pickles, and sweet potatoes, but use your imagination! Baby back ribs or burgers pair well!
Garlicky Green Beans 1 lb. fresh green beans (preferably long thin "French" beans, but any type will work) 2 T peanut oil 2 T chopped garlic 1/2 large yellow onion, cut in half top-to-bottom and then into slivers the same size as the beans (next time I'd probably just use the whole onion) 1/4 tsp. salt 1 T water (plus a bit more if you check and the pan seems dry) 2 T oyster sauce
Fried Green Tomatoes – Under ripe green tomato slices, dredged in wet batter mix of egg, water and milk. Pressed into dry batter mix of corn meal, flour, salt, dried Italian seasonings and pepper. Fried in peanut oil and stacked on baby greens with sliced cherry tomatoes. Drizzled with boiled balsamic vinegar reduction.
