Candy Cane Christmas Holiday Gift Tags or ornaments (for sale) by PaperBistro on Etsy - (Could use cardstock or cardboard covered with wrapping paper and miniature candy canes!) Theses tags have a chipboard hand painted and glittered candy cane, machine stiching, ribbon and pom pom trim. Tags measure 1 3/4" x 3 3/4".

ribbon candy cane; leads to an Etsy page, but could easily be made.

Candy Cane Holiday Wreath- This is probably the easiest idea to have your kids do. The styrofoam ring can be found in the craft section/store, yarn and any decorations you like to add. Wrap the yarn and tie off. Use yarn to tie the decorations on also. No gluing necessary. Instead of yarn you could use strips of wrapping paper and tape it around the ring.

Wrap candy boxes in solid-color red or white paper and wind different colors and widths of ribbon around them. Fill out a simple white gift tag and thread the ribbon through it.

I love this little tree! This candy cane topiary from Pizzazzerie is also made from a Styrofoam cone. The cone is covered with Royal Icing and the candy canes are set in the icing, which hardens when it dries. The tree is attached to a candle holder using a floral tube. Check out this tutorial.

Candy Cane Tree- {candy canes are really inexpensive so this could really be a cost-effective way to make a great centerpiece that wows!}

How cute would this be for a little kid scavenger hunt? Instead of placing candy canes in the envelopes, put in a little clue for the kids to follow. At each stage put an identical envelope with a new clue, and the last stage can be a couple small gifts wrapped in the same scrapbook paper.
