California - Monterrey - Carmel by the Sea - # 6 of the 10 most famous trees in the world. The Lone Cypress Tree is over 200 years old and because its one of the most famous trees in the world, is also the official symbol of Pebble Beach and you will see it during your drive through 17-Mile Drive. The tree is perched on a rock with supporting cable around it to keep it from falling.

Carmel-by-the-Sea--very favorite place to visit in California (one of my favorite childhood memories is visiting relatives here; and it looks the same, so many years later)

Carmel By the Sea - Ocean Ave, Ca: No doubt has some of the most expensive shops in the country, but the quaint architecture is DEFINITELY worth a browse around this town. Not to mention the ocean is about 4 blocks down and Pebble Beach is about 4 blocks to the North and Big Sur is about 4 blocks to the South. So, you can't really go wrong ; )
