combine 8 oz. of water with 2 drops of glycerin, a couple of drops of grapefruit essential oil and 1 tsp. of aloe vera gel in a spray bottle
DIY: Aloe Vera Gel - Aloe Vera is equally good for acne and sunburn but you can use it in a number of other ways, for example: to treat seborrheic dermatitis or psoriasis, on cooking burns, for rejuvenating face masks, as a skin moisturizer instead of shampoo, to tame frizzy hair.
1 cup of water 1/4 cup marshmallow root (get from a natural foods store) 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar (I use with the mother) 1 tablespoon of oil (oils like coconut, olive, or jojoba) 5-10 drops of lavender essential oil Boil the water and the marshmallow root for about 20. Allow it to cool, then strain the liquid through a cheesecloth, and add in the rest of the ingredients.
Aloe is great for insect bites and stings, but it is also the best remedy for sunburn. You can apply the gel by squeezing it directly from an aloe plant. A great soak can be developed by combining a cup of powdered milk with about 10 drops of lavender essential oil. Shake well and let sit for a day before pouring into a lukewarm bath. by Wellhome
Make your unsightly pimple disappear with a dab of lavender essential oil. Don’t go rubbing essential oils, without diluting them, all over your skin. But a drop of lavender or tea tree on an uncomfortably large pimple might be all the pimple remedy you’ll need.
Pinner said-Tried this last night, TOTALLY works!!! I used 1 part coconut oil and 1 part aloe vera gel, itching/pain gone instantly, red gone by morning, skin amazingly soft. (original pin used honey too, but I couldn't imagine scrubbing sticky honey off a sunburn if it didn't work...turns out u don't need it) L.H.
