I have done this with my old velure suits ;) of course I would end up with one suit instead of two, because I would use the material from one to stich lines on the sides of another

Bow Sleeve T-Shirt - Speaking of shoulder details, how 'bout this t-shirt remake by Sew, What's New? user Ruby Murray? The shirt originally had long sleeves, which she cut off and used to make the bow embellishments. She even uses the cut-off seams to create additional detailing around the neckline, so not even the smallest scrap of fabric goes to waste in this project!

T-shirt scarf. I did this one today with Ashlynn. I thought using her size shirts would make the perfect size scarf for her but they are too thin. An adult shirt works best. If the strips are too wide they will not curl well. I look forward to doing more of these. Free scarves with stuff I already have at home. :)

joining ends of t-shirt yarn. love this diagram. need for when i finish cutting up my old sheets

Purchase a pack of white tees (the more tees, the more ruffles you can create). Cut off a few inches from the bottom hem. The wider the panel, the larger the ruffle. Cut off one sleeve with sharp fabric scissors for the asymmetrical neck. Scrunch, pin, and sew to the diagonal neckline. If your tee is too loose around the underarm, add a few stitches or pin it to achieve the perfect fit!

Laura Lynn's Bits n Bobs: T-Shirt Transformation

i always do this! i have a lot of t-shirts i made myself! Quotes and Pics! But my tip is: if you use a thicker kind of paper, like couche paper, the paint won´t spread and you can make another coat of paint and it won´t rip!

sew sleeves together and make 4 long strips. set your tension to the highest number it will go, then set your stitch length to the longest stitch. center strip at CB, raw ends at bottom of CF
