Here's an idea for cutting wine bottles into candle holders, @Laura Sesto Finally someone tells us how to cut bottles! Glass cutting with only yarn and fingernail polish remover- Here is what you do: -wrap the cotton yarn around your bottle 5-6 times, tie and cut ends. -slide yarn off of the bottle -dip in nail polish remover -slide the wet yarn back onto the bottle---NOTE---the bottle will be cut at whatever angle you have the yarn at, so if you are interested in doing a sideways cut just adjust your yarn -light on fire ****please please be careful**** -only the wet yarn will be lit on fire and the flame is very well controlled -rotate bottle in circles as the yarn is on fire for about 20 seconds so that all parts of the bottle warm evenly -submerge in cold water and watch the bottle parts separate -use sand paper to smooth rough edges

Glasses out of beer/wine bottles!- and all you need is string, nail polish remover, a lighter and the bottles.

I've tried this once and it didn't quite cut how I wanted it to but practice makes perfect. :) I'm planning to make candle holders and maybe jazz them up with some lace around the trim or other fun, cute fabrics. You can also use mod podge to attach fabric and make some cool little holders for your treasures.
