LBJ and JFK. Interesting body language. They clearly did not like each other. One wonders why Kennedy chose a man he did not like to be his running mate.Actually He didn't. Kennedy wanted someone else, but Johnson blackmailed Kennedy into making him the VP running mate.
All of Kennedy's advisors tried to push him against running in 1960. He didn't listen - and as a result he won. He was not the ideal choice by his other Democratic Party members (that would have been LBJ) and this was evident when JFK came into office and put 3 republicans into the top positions. - Y.
