Back during World War II, it used to be common practice to send cans of sweetened condensed milk to the men on the front lines. It was an easy way to send them a sweet treat. It's homemade caramel, in a can! A history and cooking lesson all in one.

make your own Caramel in a Can!! 1. Unopened can of sweetened condensed milk with the paper taken off. 2. Place the unopened can in a crock-pot. Completely submerge the unopened can in water. 3. Cook on the crock-pot's lowest setting for 8 hours. 4.Cool down in the fridge for at least 2 hours. Cooling the can is the key. 5. Voilà you have delicious homemade caramel!! :)

Easiest way to frost a cake and get a faux fondant look with store bought icing. But it actually tastes good!

A friend said "I am completely obsessed with this bread. I've made 5 loaves already!" This is insanely easy - it literally took 2 minutes to stir together the dough - let it sit overnight and then bake.

This strawberry jam is one of the best things you’ll ever taste. No lie. You will never, ever want to eat jam from the store again. Not only is it way better for you, because it’s fresh and doesn’t have horrible things in it like high-fructose corn syrup and weird artificial dyes, it also makes a fantastic, super-cheap, seriously impressive gift.
