Cool photo. Space Shuttle Breaching the Clouds. This image is a composite of 2 pictures. the picture of the sky and clouds was taken by me from an airplaine, and the shuttle is a picture from NASA. Then the assembly was done in Photoshop & Ligthroom.

Nice shot! Endeavour disappeared into the clouds only a few seconds after launch... sts134

Space Shuttle -- I was always so PROUD of our NASA Space Programs. I would like to see it in person.

Kennedy Space Center Vehicle Assembly Building. The enormity of this building is difficult to describe at best!! Bigger than 100 Costco's!!!

The ET (External Tank) is the largest element of the space shuttle, and when loaded, it is also the heaviest. It consists of three major components: the forward liquid oxygen (LOX) tank an unpressurized intertank that contains most of the electrical components the aft liquid hydrogen (LH2) tank; this is the largest part, but it is relatively light, due to hydrogen's very low density. Those 2 chemicals funnel out of the engine and when combined energy is released.

Space Shuttle. In honor of my father, rocket scientist who never left us. Thanks for teaching us that professionally, women can achieve equality to men. He started with the Enterprise. How cool is that?

STS-135 Space Shuttle Atlantis Up-Close I've worked on that gang plank, the final path of steel to the shuttle's Astronauts entry. Sandblasting and spraying zinc. Most memorable moments and I feel very blessed for the opportunity to do so. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to experience great things kids. Hard work and determination will never let you down.
