I've been trying to think of ways to do alternatively shaped photos. I like the use of circles here. It gives it consistency that the photos and papers are all matted in the same color.

This might be a little bit tricky doing it digitally, but I love mixing the photos in with the brightly colored photos. I also like that nothing is an exact square or rectangle giving energy to the page.

Handmade Greeting Card - 5.5" x 4.25" - Stampin Up Four Feathers & Washi Tape - Argyle Embossing

Lost Lagoon & the Basic Gray. Would work well for a feminine or masculine birthday. The card that measures 5 1/2" x 4 1/4", with all images & wording being hand stamped. I used the stamp sets Four Feathers & Fabulous Four by Stampin' Up, card stocks, inks, a feather die, an embossing folder, All is Calm washi tape for the die cut feather, baker's twine & a silver metal button.

Jennifer at Scrapping Under the Influence was on the ball! She made her Nutcracker from Clara's Christmas Eve Kit without the Assembly Video! Wow! Now that shows you Mary's files are fabulous to look at, so detailed, and easy to put together, but the videos are a big help for some of us, hmmm, like me! hehe. Way to go Jennifer!!!!

The sweet little Geisha Girl from Hero Arts Japanese Garden set was paper pieced with Konnichiwa papers from Basic Grey. The shading and black details on the kimono, the face, hair, hands, and shoes were all colored with Copics. The background paper is also from the Konnichiwa collection and the paper pieced lanterns are from My Cute Stamp's NiHao set.
