cell phone partners-each child selects 10 names to put on a speed dial number. When you need a partner, teacher calls out a number and they check the speed dial to see who their partner is this time. cute idea

Stop what you're doing. Walk over and hand this to a child instead of yelling across the classroom....when i worked at a daycare i had a quiet sign for my afterschoolers...... the kids who were quiet would jump up grab the sign and go show the ones who needed to be quiet becuz i got tired of trying to out scream them just to get them to listen. worked really well too

great idea It can be soooo time consuming to answer the questions...Can we use markers?, Do we turn this in?, Is this a talking activity? I love using these assignment choice signs to answer those questions without me doing the work. Once I give directions for an activity, I quickly place checks and X's by the cards and my students know exactly where to look for the answer.
