I never thought to stencil the ceiling but I kinda love this. I can't imagine the pain my back would be in after accomplishing something like this though.

If you're going to have a dark painted wall or room, make sure there is an abundance of natural light, utilize a light curtain and add style by adding nontraditional gradient pattern to the wall.

paint background in a solid color let dry overnight- copy a simple design on transparancy paper then use overhead projector to see design on furniture. use small flat brush to outline and color it in.
