"On New Year’s Day, 2019 Spencer and I hiked through Joshua Tree. While I was distracted by the view, I turned around to Spencer on one knee, his great grandmothers ring in hand. In this moment, Spencer managed to get out the words “Will you marry me”. ⁠We got married on August 25, 2020 in Ontario. My engagement ring was a Birks original from the 1920’s, complete with the sterling silver dome ring box that originally belonged to Spencer’s great grandmother. The ring could not be more perfect.⁠"⁠
