BABY FOOD! I'm repinning this for any of my friends that make baby food...this is perfect for broth!! They get all the good stuff from all these veggies. I even mix in a little with mash potatoes and also when making mac and cheese (the box kind)-i use 1/2 water and 1/2 broth - I freeze it in cubes and pop out as many as I need!
Canning Chicken - I have a pressure canner and I would NEVER can meat, poultry or fish. Too risky. Eat meat fresh (or frozen or commercially canned) ...can everything else. Study the very real (and devastating) risks of HOME-CANNED meat/poultry/fish - it's simply not worth the risk.
Skip the canned and boxed broth and make homemade! It's like liquid gold! Start a pot n the morning, let it simmer all day, strain, cool freeze. It's so good and good for you. Buy whole chickens, bone-in thighs, or cut up chickens. You want the bones.
