Pioneer Woman - 7 Layer salad A+. i have made this several times. i always follow the recipe exactly. We all love it! (it is best to eat this within a few hours of making it, or the day at the latest. after that it gets watery)

Layered Salad.. I do these on Sunday and have fresh salads through until Friday!! So easy and so efficient! If you put veggies like cucumbers at the bottom with the dressing, they soak up some flavor too instead of getting mushy!

7 layer salad...great for a gathering. lettuce, frozen peas, onion, tomato, cheese, bacon, hard boiled egg, can sub in carrots, or celery- if you don't like another of the ingredients. AWESOME-easy dressing-1c mayo, 1/4 c sugar, 1 T vinegar

Another pinner said:Could Angela Liddon get any more incredible? I think not. This recipe was so so so fresh and delicious! And I love the mason jar concept, I had lunch all ready to go for me for five days straight! My body and tastebuds would start to crave it as soon as I got up in the morning.

Cookin' Cowgirl: Seven Layer Salad (sans the peas and water chestnuts during induction phase ). Go real mayo, not light mayo.

7 Layer Salad, plus tomatoes and avocado made with spinach instead of iceberg. So I guess it is a 9 layer salad.

This delicious salad is always a welcome addition to the buffet table for family gatherings, bring-a-dish buffets and summer picnics. Inspired by a classic Southern favorite, this layered all-American salad looks beautiful in a clear glass bowl.
