This is so cute for the beginning of the year! Or put it in a ziplok bag with each of the items and hide it in your kid's lunch box.

First week of school time capsule- stamp & date their itty handprints, measure their height with yarn, and have them fill out a little first day info sheet with their self portrait on the back. Then save 'till the last day of school and have them open it and do the exact same activity! I was thinking maybe to hold it until graduation. :)

Borrowed from the teachers: At a chapter workshop, begin with giving everyone PostIts. Have five questions about the topic around the room (What do you hope to learn about conversation? What do you enjoy about recruitment? etc.) Let your sisters use the icebreker to participate and don't forget to make sure all the questions were answered at the end!

Letter Of The Week Crafts - just one part of learning and playing with letters. When did your child start showing interest in letters?

Do this for the kids then have them fill the bag with five things that tell more about themselves and bring it back the next day! The teacher should fill a bag too!
