The Shopaholic Series The Shopaholic series by Sophie Kinsella was a guilty pleasure of mine in my early 20s, starting with Confessions of a Shopaholic. I read the whole series in a few short weeks. Whether leading lady, Rebecca Brandon (née Bloomwood), was rationalizing outrageous Harrods purchases or wrecking havoc in her personal life, the books were quick and really fun reads. Just finished this one. I promised myself I will read the next book as the title comes up on the Kindle without prejudice. It was a light read and I enjoyed it. A bit slow in the middle but the main character kept me around and then in the end it all tied together nicely and lightheartedly. I had to laugh in the beginning as it reminded me of Alda when she started as a marketing asst and her friend. It sounded like their story being told and all the fun things that happen to them.
Sophie kinsella. The best chick lit authorI've ever read. Her main characters are hilariously flawed strong women .... I read these books in 1 sitting no matter how many times I've read them before. HIGHEST recommendation, really cannot praise enough
