For Andrea - This was the Label Maker we used when I was your age! You fed a thick, hard tape through it and engraved the letter on it by squeezing the button. You had to dial each letter you wanted. Loved it!
Label maker - and to think, now that I code and such as part of my work, that I couldn't get the hang of using this thing!
Label Maker. You had to squeeze extra firm to get a good impression of each letter or number!
Label Maker - My Aunt Judy had these...loved them, wanted my name on everything!

Shoulder Pads... why women in the 80s thought looking like a linebacker would make them more attractive is still one of life's greatest mysteries-- it wasn't to make themselves more attractive, they started in women's suits and office attire to make women look more "professional" (*coughs* masculine) worst. Idea. Ever.
Shoulder Pads... why women in the 80s thought looking like a linebacker would make them more attractive is still one of life's greatest mysteries... - Apparently they learned nothing because these were popular in the 40s also.

Fortune Teller, 70 S, Childhood Memories, Ole Days, 90 S Kid, Cootie Catcher, Ol Days, Memory Lane, 80 S
Cootie catcher! People at my school loved these! I think we called them Fortune Tellers though.
Paper Fortune Teller A fortune teller (also called a cootie catcher) is a form of origami used in children's fortune-telling games. A player asks a question, and the fortune teller operator answers using an algorithm to manipulate the fortune teller's shape. Questions, answers, colors or numbers may be written on the fortune teller. To use the fortune teller, the player telling the fortunes holds the four corners of the paper with pointer fingers and thumbs on both hands.
