Topped mine with home-made lavender glaze! This recipe yields a somewhat more dense doughnut than I had hoped for, but still tasty. The whole 3"/2" crumpet cutter thing doesn't work so well, so I either hand-cut the holes (awfully boring work), or stuck to just the 2" size for a load of minis. Next time I'll try less flour or the addition of baking powder so the dough is more aerated.
