This lovely fern is commonly known as a foxtail fern. My mother gave me one several years ago and for a long time it was in a container. I transplanted it to a shady spot in the garden it's doing splendidly! I love the spiky yet soft look of this fern. Every garden needs unusual plants that are easy to grow and this fern is both.
Artemisia- Artemisia has beautiful silver-gray foliage that won’t fade in the hot sun. This hardy perennial is also drought and insect resistant, and the branches make a wonderful addition to indoor flower arrangements.
Shade garden - Black Mondo Grass. I absolutely LOVE this stuff. Imagine it growing as a border for flowering plants with bright colors. Also makes a great mass planting surrounded by a stone border. Or in planters or flower boxes for contrast.
