Carnivore Death by seduction.. This is a carnivorous pitcher plant of the genus Nepenthes, which are found around south east asia and the indian ocean. Insects and others are lured to their death tempted by a good meal, only to become one. The pointy red bits are called 'teeth'. :)
Pitcher Plants are cool. The insides of these tall pitchers and others like them have fine, slippery hairs all along the shaft. Insects slide in, can't fly out, and try to crawl out, only to slide farther in, until they get stuck. Then the plants fill with fluid to cover all the insects and absorb them.
String Gardens: Grow plants in balls of soil/moss tied together with string and hang them! (Dunk in water to refresh.)
