Cherry blossoms in Washington, D.C. For me, one of the most magical things about living 18 years in D.C. was that first moment when spring arrives and the entire capital bursts into a fairyland shade of pink. Despite the hard-edge, fast paced lifestyle of the city, when spring rolls around, it's impossible to not get swept away by the beauty of these gorgeous blossoms. For anyone planning a trip to D.C., do schedule it around spring and take time to stroll through the various parks for a true walk to remember.

Once we have called, our next step is to watch. He has never broken a promise and He is promising to show us great and mighty things we do not know. God finds joy not only in our asking but also in our anticipation that follows. Lets not rob Him of them!

i would love to have a verse in every room in the house...i love how non-cheesey this design is

Definitely need to put this up on a wall somewhere because I keep stressing out and getting worried about things not going the way they should. I need to relax. He's got it. :') ♥

One of my favorite lines from one of my favorite books... Don't limit God to our own comprehension

My family and his mom and sisters and the rest of his family have been wonderful and so supportive. Feeling blessed for having them and I know that one day that it will be changed.

I like this phrase as a reminder that grudges hurt ourselves more than others. It's not so much related to Travels as it is to traveling through life.
