Fabulous late 1920s downtown Dallas Texas street scene at the corner of Akard and Main st. The Victory Clothing Company is seen to the left and on the right is the illustrious KIRBY BUILDING. Originally built by Adolphus Busch in 1913, and designed by the St Louis architecture firm Barnett, Hayes and Barnett in the Late Gothic-style. 5 yeras after construction the building was sold to the Houston-based Kirby Investment Company.
