In Atchison, Kansas, it is known as the 'Sallie House' because of sightings of a young girl and the daughter of previous tenants had an imaginary friend named Sallie. Some occurrences in the house include, wall-hung pictures turned upside-down, strangely melted candles and burnt finger marks, multiple photo anomalies and bloody scratches appearing as if from no where.
Roxie Roker, actress. She is best known for her groundbreaking role as Helen Willis on The Jeffersons, half of the 1st interracial couple to be shown on prime time TV. A graduate of Howard University, she began her career with the Negro Ensemble Company and became a successful stage actress, later winning an Obie Award and a Tony nomination for her role of Mattie Williams in "The River Niger." She is the mother of rock star Lenny Kravitz and the cousin of NBC Today Show's, Al Roker.
