    Swiss chard pesto. Great way to use your CSA swiss chard. I served it along with goat cheese, roasted red bell peppers, basil oil marinated cherry tomatoes and toasted baguette slices..... it was a build your own crostini appetizer. YUM!

    Swiss Chard Pesto: (1) bunch swiss chard, remove stems. 1/4 C Olive Oil, Pine Nuts (or nuts of choice), 1-2 cloves garlic, juice of (1) Lemon. Food Processor for 1-2 minutes, Done!

KEEPER- Inspired Kara: Rainbow Chard Pesto Laura- Made this and had with whole wheat pasta. Yum. I blanched the chard leaves before from another recipe I had. Plenty of extra to put away or use again on pizza crust, etc. I also used walnuts instead of pine because that is what I had around.
