    Yet another reason why I should invest in mason jars. Salad in a jar recipe! good idea for work! As long as dressing and lettuce do not touch in the jar, they can be made 1 week in advance while staying fresh with the lid screwed tight. Genius!

As long as they stay separate, these salads can be made up to 4 days in advance and will stay fresh in the fridge with a lid on. Good for work lunches.
