Laid-back contemporary chic: white wood panelled walls, floor and door to en-suite, accented with black and grey accessories naturally . . .

Love the door, hate the wall color and the railing looks atrocious. I don't even know why I pinned this or bothered to write this note. That's what 2 hrs sleep did to me.

Love, love, love the idea of walls you can write on directly. Maybe because it's handy or maybe it's just my inner four year old that got yelled at for writing on the walls saying "yes!!!!!" to the idea. Either way, I love this idea. The door is from an old New Orleans bank.

I love rustic doors in a clean, contemporary setting.

ON TRACK “This door was a fabulous Angie Tyner [A. Tyner Antiques] find that is very old. It's in its original state—not even the iron on it has been touched up. But it weighs a ton! So we built a track above it that allows it to easily slide back and forth like a barn door.”

I love pocket doors - every room in the house should have them!! (think of the floor space saved and the decorating you could do without doors hitting things!) These are beautiful.

Sliding Screen Doors - The owners of this South Carolina home wanted a welcoming entry and loved the idea of keeping their front door open to enjoy the breeze while still keeping bugs at bay. The answer: sliding screened doors hung just inside the foyer, instead of outside the front entrance. Plus, the doors keep the entry and surrounding area open because there is no door swing.
