Little Earthquakes, Jennifer Weiner

In Her Shoes - Jennifer Weiner. The book was a lot better than the movie.

This cover was a struggle -- how much teen can you show without suggesting that the book is YA? Can Cannie have a face, someday? But I fought for -- and loved -- the pink.

Jennifer Weiner has a wonderful repetoire of novels. Despite the classification of "Chick Lit", her novels are poignant while also hilarious.

Another one that my publisher loved and I worried about -- I thought it looked too much like BEST FRIENDS FOREVER. And -- you guessed it -- the lady on the right was airbrushed into real-sized-ness.

I just read this book for the first time this week - it's got to be one of my favourites, and I lovelovelove Jennifer Weiner! Her writing is captivating and the rotating perspectives in this book left me hooked. :-)

Just finished this book and loved it. good to the end and can not wait for the next book with Kate to see what happens next!

You can't go wrong w/any of her books, but this is the one that put her on the map. Another fabulous debut novel. A woman who knows how to write women and goes above and beyond 'chic lit' by infusing the pages with warmth and humor and life.

Such a neat glimpse into very different women's lives. Made me want to read more...and have a good cry!
