The Monumento Nazionale a Vittorio Emanuele II (National Monument to Victor Emmanuel II) or Altare della Patria (Altar of the Fatherland) or "Il Vittoriano" is a monument built in honour of Victor Emmanuel, the first king of a unified Italy. Located in Rome, it occupies a site between the Piazza Venezia and the Capitoline Hill. The monument was designed by Giuseppe Sacconi in 1885.

The Cathedral of S.S. Peter and Paul is the oldest church in St. Petersburg, Russia and boasts to be the tallest Orthodox Church in the world!. On April 1, 1704, it became St. Petersburg first landmark. Further construction was done by Domenico Trezzini from 1712-1733. It is also know as the tallest Orthodox bell tower and is considered as an instrument with 51 bells which can play most classical and modern music.
