Ok, I need this little creature to be mine. Maggie is sure to love her.

pygmy goat. i want one. But I need a farm- if ever I have a farm it will be a miniature critter farm- pygmy goats, dwarf bunnies, miniature donkeys & miniature horses. ....... all things miniature & small!

Pygmy Goats - I've had two or three and, believe me, they're very clever and as agile as deer! I spent a lot of time repairing fences! Yes, they're cute and a barrel of fun........but need regular hoof trimming as well as annual worming and shots. And, of course, daily alfalfa or lower-protein hay and a little sweet feed (mostly oats, I think).

Goats, although traditionally thought of as farm animal, do make good pets. A perennial favorite in petting zoos, their curious, friendly nature make them good companions. There are a wide variety of breeds available, and the dwarf or pygmy varieties are probably the most commonly kept as pets.
