If you take a look at history, things have changed quite a bit (not enough, but still things have changed) and are going to hopefully continue to change. With the way things are moving forward things are beginning to look more and more promising for positive changes in equality as long as we keep fighting for the changes. People who don't recognize these changes are just fooling themselves.
