    Rebecca: they do know. This lady just prefer to pray God this way and there is nothing wrong with that. Maybe the candle was for Diwalli. I am so tired of people ignorance on behalf of Indian culture.

    Actually. Its a symbol of hope. In d darkest of times we pray to god for a diya(candle) to light up our lives. Its metaphormic. Is that even a word? Anyway. That's y fire is sacred here. Pure. Becoz hope can't b anything if not this
