Mason Jar Herb Garden. I will try planting herbs one more time before I declare my "green thumb" is really gangrene...
•Wood trellis •Clay pots, various sizes •Galvanized wire •Pliers •Potting soil •Plants or herbs of your choosing Twist one end of the wire over itself and pinch tight with pliers, leaving one long end free for hanging. Bend the long end of the wire to make a hook that fits snugly over a horizontal piece of trellis.
Hanging herb garden - pair sage and rosemary, parsley (appreciates weekly liquid feeding and midday shade) and chives, and basil (cut some shoots off a supermarket-bought plant and stand them in water until they produce roots, then pot up the plantlets individually).

I love this stacked container garden. This is made by simply threading a length of metal rebar through the holes of the pots. (this same look is really pretty when planting with vinca and other flowing flowers)
