Cheesy Potato Soup- delicious dish. I was feeding three Marines though, so I added more bacon (let's be honest: I doubled it.) and incorporated it in the dish instead of just as a topping. I also did this in the crock pot instead of on the stove. Yum.
Crock pot mashed potatoes...this has to go better than last time I tried to make them the normal way
TARTIFLETTE (potato & cheese casserole, a French comfort food): 3 large potatoes, peeled and sliced; 7 slices bacon, chopped; 1 T butter; 1 large onion, sliced; 1/4 cup white wine; 2 T creme fraiche; 1 (8 oz) round Reblochon cheese; salt & ground black pepper to taste.
