Love these candy corn puzzles.  I can't find a link to a printable but I think I could make them easy enough.

Interesting...Dr. Jean says a rubber band can give much-needed support for children who have a hard time holding a pencil correctly.

How to help kids who have a hard time holding a pencil correctly? Jean says to put a rubber band around the wrist and then put it around the pen or pencil. She said that Silly Bands would actually be better than rubber bands.

Oven burners. I used some velcro to attach them to the wall and they make an instant station activity. My kids are using them to sort magnetic letters by their features (circles/curves, sticks, both, dots, etc.). Later in the year they could probably build some of our sight words on them with magnetic letters
