Oh. My. God. My mom sold ours for $10 a couple of years ago. Only blemish was the horse had had an ear chewed off by a dog!

Erica Gamet The old (wood-body People) FP sets are covetable, and because they're kids' toys and kids lose stuff, they are rarely complete. The Denver Museum of Miniatures, Dolls, and Toys has this castle!

The only FP people we had were wood. Their little collars were plastic. I do have original Star Wars toys...not in packaging though.

Erica Gamet According to ThisOldToy.com, FP slowly switched the bodies over to plastic between 1972 and 1975. Although the Castle was first seen in the 1974 FP catalog, the '74-'77 sets used the wood body figures (except for the Knight). The set being sold here is from '76 or '77, mine was the 1975 version with all yellow furniture. My mom donated the whole thing 30+ years ago to the children's room at our local library.

My brother and I bought the set the first Xmas it was available. We pooled our money (seem to recall it was like $15 or something) and got it ourselves BEFORE the holidays...we couldn't wait! I forgot that the knight was plastic...his armor!
